Help me Reach my Goal for the Stollery!
Hey guys! I spent the first 3 monts of my life in the Stollery NICU where the doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, and 100 other specialists I can't remember the names of worked so hard to save me! I had quite the belly ache when I first got there, apparently my bowels were collapsed which made me throw up lots! It was awful. I had to have 3 surgeries during this time to fix my belly. That was tough on my little body but because of these great people, the amazing facility and my loving parents I'm still here and doing better than ever! I had quite a few ups and downs during my time at the Stollery from cuddling with ALL the nurses ALL night long, even when they should've been working heehee, drinking bottles of milk (Woo-hoo!), and going on walks with my parents! Those were the days! However I did struggle while I was there, especially with withdrawls. But because of that I think I'm wayyy past my drug using days so mom and dad won't have to worry about that in my teenage years; withdrawls are no joke!
I've spent alot of my time in the hospital since getting out of the NICU, which is never fun but I'm so lucky to have the Stollery close to me so whenever I do really need it I can get there quick! I haven't been admitted since September 2018 which is not small feat for me! This is the longest I've been outside those hospital walls.
Well I better go, it's almost snack time! Thanks for listening to my story and helping me reach my personal and team goal. Lets let the Stollery keep saving all the precious little children like me!
